- How much does leaf cost?  
leaf is free to use on both [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sharewithleaf.app&hl=en_US) and [iOS](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/leaf-audio-memory-app/id1668691902). There is also an Essentials plan that offers unlimited recordings, uploads, and storage plus secure backup. Essentials also includes collaborative memory [albums](/content/albums/index.html) for free.

- How do I switch my plan?  
Switch your plan in the app from free to paid by clicking on “Settings” > “Manage Subscription” and then choosing a monthly or annual plan. If you’d like to switch back to the free plan, you will need to cancel your subscription. You will still have access to all of your stories, the ability to share them, and also be able to listen to anything shared with you. However you will not be able to record or upload content once you’ve reached the 10 story threshold.

- What payment methods do you accept?  
We accept all payment methods supported by the [Apple App Store](https://support.apple.com/en-us/111741) and [Google Play Store](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2651410?hl=en&ref_topic=3365267&sjid=5227511591157079117-NC). Available payment methods vary by country.

- What happens if I hit my recording limit?  
Once you hit your recording limit of 10 stories, you will continue to have access to all of your stories and those shared with you; however, you will not be able to record or upload any additional content. In order to continue adding stories to leaf, you would need to upgrade to the paid plan.

- If I change plans, will that prevent anyone from listening to recordings that I’ve shared?  
No, all of your recordings will remain and anyone that you’ve shared with can continue to listen at any time.

- What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?  
You can access your data through the leaf app, even after you cancel your Essentials membership. You can also export your data at any time whether or not you are on the free or Essentials plan. If you’d like to have your account and data entirely removed, contact us and we’ll be happy to do so.
